I think every one should see what has taken place thru the years,WWI, WWII, Korea, Nam, in the Mid East ... the general public has not a clue .. Movies like this are a great reminder and understand where you are comming from if you were there.

One fact they gave last night,that still is a little hard to understand.....

During WWII the ave soldier faced 10 days of combat in a year.In Vietnam the ave soldier faced 240 days in a year ????

I didn't understand that either.

Watched most of it last night. Lost a very good friend to Nam, he didn't die there but was killed there... after effects from his time flying troops in and out.
I went to school with his younger brother and when Wayne came home I had heard so much about his time there that we became good friends. We worked together for many years and the stories he told me about his time there were amazing.
Passed at 42 years old, what a shame.
God bless everyone that spent time there and to everyone that served.

I wasnt doubting that in Vietnam the did 240 days a year in combat,10 days in WWII just didnt sound right.I rewound it to make sure but they did say 10?
