This is some green chartreuse rope I have so I cut some and pulled the core out of it. Used some black tipped zonker strip for the tail and tied it mylar style. Flipping it over is a pain in the butt, finally got it to work and it came out pretty nice - used a black sharpie on top of it.

Sweet looking. Not sure what tying "Mylar style" is Butd like to hear the process minus the zonker strip. Never used those material.
Great work Doug

Thanks Lost - here's a video how how to tye with the tubing this guy makes a really good pattern. You can fast forward to where he ties it in but the whole thing is worth a look.

Watch the video and fast forward to the mylar part. That's turning it inside out, you can also slip it on the hook
Here's a couple of mine, carefully slip it on the hook tie it off add the hackle collar. The more the mylar unravels fishing the more wavy the tails. OR you can restart your thread near the tail and tie it down, your choice
