Still organizing paints. I have quite too many unknown mixes that aren't far off from base colors. So I decided to mix a few off those and add glitter and clear and came up with a decent grey/ silver baitfish and a black that could prob be used for lateral lines.

Painted this'n for my pops after work yesterday to see if they were keepers

The middle color is the silver

Top can be better seen this way

Bottom is just black chrome n red

Think the silver will be useful.

That is really nice!!!! I was making some glitter mixes myself and I added too much glitter so I took some black and mixed the clear and glitter in along with a little extra clear and got a good black with glitter which issomething I've always wated. That top color is amazing too, now, is that epoxy coated? If it isn't can you feel the glitter on the surface? I want to know because my glitter corlors I've been making are working really nice but the glitter seems to want to come to the surface and lower amounts don't show up so I would appreciate some of the knowledge because that looks great!!!

The whole look of that one screams natural...... where's your pink??? :P Excellent paint job!

I have turned into a glitter junky myself. Have to believe it either gives the illusion of movement or just plain calls attention to itself. I have every color imaginable now.

But here comes that problem!! You can write down what you added but you don't know what was in the jars before so you can't remix!!!!!!!!!

Hope you had a bunch of it and can save it for later use. I have one of those colors - and it's driving me nuts tht I can't reproduce it.

Both can be easily replicated I'm sure. No worries. Besides, could prob paint a thousand heads with each color.…
I'm not as productive as you, Doug.

SJ,
I've never had a problem with rough heads. I just use low heat to make the glitter/clear mix stick, heat gently to you see some shine, then do a clear powder cover and then cure. They're as smooth and glossy as can be.
I still double coat with Sally's if I'm using 3D eyes.

Thx everyone. Just like painting. Wish I had same energy to tie

And Russ, you and Rog and Heath need to form a pseudo glam punk group called Pretty In Glitter. And wear Pink....
