My wife got an $800 voucher for giving up her seat for a later flight a coupla months ago. So, we used it to book my flight tomorrow online on the United website. All went well, voucher code seemed to be accepted with only balance above $800 stated as charged to her UNITED MILES VISA card. But, checking my UA itinerary email today, noticed the entire ticket price appeared to have been charged to the card. Called UA customer service (Philipines) and request to correctly apply voucher credit to ticket was DENIED by both service rep and manager.
Apparently the industry standard for car rentals has gone to heck honesty wise, sad that we can't even trust major airlines anymore.
