First of all this is not my idea. I stole it from another site from another blade bait fanatic.
He was using the ultra minnow mold with a blade bait blank. Lots of flash to trim but like he said for just a few no big deal. I am thinking of re-doing mold for faster production though. Here is a pic of initial proto -types
For those of you that aren't familiar with blade baits. Heddon's sonar was the first big commercial successful blade bait. Since then it has spawned many imitations. The latest on the market here is the Vibee. I put a sample of each on the pic. They are an extremely popular walleye bait here in the north.
Kinda got two new things going on here at once. This sonar project and just starting to airbrush. So paint job is nowhere near what the finished lure going to look like. But the perch finish is the one I will perfect first.
