Tying Station Massacre

This was the aftermath of leaving the lid to my feather box open while at work :s

Had really never had any trouble with this dog before,Hopefully after several "rainbow" presents in the back yard,she learned her lesson...



Worst part was,the wife recommended I close up my office before we left that morning,,nah it will be fine I said

My wife used to have a Spitz. When ever we left the house she would always shred one of my gun books. Never any of my wife's stuff and always a gun book. Maybe because they had more of my smell on them. Who knows ? Anyway when she tore up my " Cartridges of the World " I bodily picked her up off her four feet and rubbed her nose in the shred pile that used to be my book. I then took her outside and beat her with a large plastic bag full of air. Which made a lot of noise but did her no physical harm. After that occurence she was a perfectly behaved dog until she died 15 years later.

Looks like the doggy just needed a little fiber. It looks like she got plenty. It could have been worse.

I used to have a poodle, called Natasha. Usually the dog slept on my bed. One night before we were married, my wife to be stayed overnight.
We shut the door to my bedroom. The next morning when I saw Natasha she had guilt all over her face. My sixteen (at that time)year old son
had a full length poster of Bo Derek on the back of his bedroom door.
I looked in and the dog had jumped up and shredded that poster in a gazillion pieces. I guess she was trying to show my wife that my bed was
her bed also!!!

This reminds of the time, my girlfriend told me she was using her vacumn sweeper and the bag blew up on her, covering her and her house in dust....I could visualize that I thought it was pretty funny...

Until....I was vacumning my house and my bag blew up on me, covering me and my house in dust ..:-/...then I realized it really wasn't very funny !!..


Roger.. I chuckled a little bit..but it was not full blown laughter !!..

I have that problem!!!!!! Even though I can't do any tying I've done a couple of fly tying swap box's and every time I get one in my wife sets it on the floor and that damned lab of mine lays right there looking at it till I get home.

She went nuts when I pulled out some Pheasant tail feathers LOL. Worst part is when we first adopted her I took her for a walk in the woods and she was pointing ruffies. Took her out later and fired blanks from the shotgun and she was on her belly with paws over her nose whining.

But with the abuse she took before we got her I didn't try to push it.

But I got to say buddy I laughed my ass off when I saw that - "LOOK DAD I GOT EM FOR YA" LMAO

That's crazy lol. My first year tying, I had most of my tails nailed to the planks/walls of my shed over the winter, early spring. Went out a week later to get some......I don't know how the heck the mice got to them, but they did lol.

I'm sure glad I haven't got a dog my house but that picture is really funny can't help but laugh I could just see your face when you come home and looked at that room.
