Excellent tutorial. So that's how you guys make those chenille bodied jigs. Very nicely done.

Thanks guys. Lately I've been fishing some water for steelhead that is loaded with small shad. This bright purple over white combo (shad-like colors) has been my top producing jig for the steelies in this type of water.

I had thought you had some top secret extra shank in there somewhere...
Great idea.
How does the marker color hold up?

Thx so much for sharing, I think easier now

You want to order the brand 'Prismacolor' markers. They are waterproof and "run" proof. you may find them at most fly shops. Sharpies work ok... much like the Bic "Mark It" you used in the tutorial.

Thanks for the tip. I will have to give the Prismacolors a try.
