Triple tail - ideas?

Fished a couple hours yesterday and didn't have much luck casting and retrieving my tyes. But they loved that triple tail.

Ideas in tying something that would an equivalent or similar action?

Have you tried rubber as a tail instead of maribou? wonder if the flat spot caused some extra vibration that drew them in...

Only thing I can think of is like happy said rubber tails, or tie a jig up and use the bottom of the triple tail grub on it. Or maybe a surgical glove with a piece cut like a triple tail and tied in.

Wide rubberband or chamois (think thats how you spell it)

Kip tail jigs have been good for me the last two weeks. I have thought about tying some using the tail off a plastic jig, I think it would work.
