Created a couple of jig trailers recently with the use of leather and craft foam. The design is simple. It's simply a square of pebble-grained leather with dog ears and a tongue for the hook bend. Craft foam is glued to the leather using E6000 adhesive. It's my hope that these jigs will produce some pretty good action with a lift/drop or a hopping retrieve. Even a slow, steady retrieve with, maybe, a pause now and then might work well with this combo.
Used the green foam for buoyancy and, hopefully, as an attractant. I look forward to fishing these to see if they will work well on largemouth bass.
