There are some pre-mixed glitter colors you can get from places that sell powder paint but you can also make you own if you purchase just clear powder paint and the glitter separate. I mix one part glitter to five parts clear powder to start and see how it looks and adjust the mix from there. Paint the head with the base color then use a brush to tap on the glitter/clear mix.

You can also use women's nail polish that has glitter, there are a lot of nail polish glitter colors. Not as durable though.

A few coats of fingernail polish, like painting a car. Columbia Coatings has an awesome hologarphic glitter you can add to powder paint or fingernail polish.

Take a look at the powder paint from Jann’s Netcraft. They have a clear top coat with glitter already mixed in the paint. All you need to do is paint with the base color, and then dip a second time in the clear/glitter top coat.

KB - most of us mix our own glitter colors, which lets us control how much me want. I have glitter from Walmart, Michaels, JoAnnes fabrics - for the little jigs get the fine or super fine and just mix like Attica said. If you buy clear buy ALOT you won't regret it!!!
