Tonight's Oscars: Best Actor

Not that I really care about the Oscars or any of the participants, but...

Jack Black was omitted from the best actor category. You might be scratching your head over this too, had you seen the movie 'Bernie'. I thought that his performance was exemplary.

Anyone else agree with me?

The movie, 'Bernie', was released in April of 2012. I rented it off of Redbox. It is based on a true story about a former funeral director named Bernhardt "Bernie" Tiede II from Carthage, TX who confessed to shooting a wealthy 81-year old widow after going to great lengths to cover it up. I'll bet that you fellows from Texas have heard of him before.

It's a pretty good movie and worth renting. Again, Jack's performance was pretty awesome and Oscar worthy in my opinion.

Yes a local ledgend in this part of Texas. Carthage is about 35 miles from here. Did not know that they had made it in to a movie. That tells you how removed from the entertainment business I have be come. The last movie I was at was the last of the Lord of the Rings movie. Still need to see the Hobbit hear that it is very good.

The wife has netflix on the computer. I shall have to look and see if the have it on there. She is the movie buff at our home.
