Please don't pay attention to my messy desk. It also serves as a work bench and I had just built a beading loom for the wife. I had some left over scrap wood and a 29 cent dowel. Cheap but works good. I need to build a second row, I still more thread!

I have done the same making my own holders for materials , still working on a holder for all my flash :beat-up::huh:
The stuff they offer already made is to much money and my opinion not that good a quality

Found some 16 count 3/16" x 12" hardwood dowels at wally world for a dollar in the craft area .

Great job Hairy! I built this for my wife 25 years ago when she. Was doing a lot of sewing. Since her stroke I've. Discovered it's ""TRUE" purpose! LOL!

I'm fortunate to have ample room on & around my tying desk. If not for that fact I'd be consolidating spools on 3 or 4 rows & taking a saw to that holder.
