Anyone know where to buy thread in bulk spools? I'm talking like 10-22,000 yard spools? Size "a" nylon rod building thread is what I am looking for.

Thanks!

Those salt water poppers and jigs will absolutely eat up a 1/4 pound of thread in a heart beat . I can understand the need . Can't help but sure can sympathize . Hate dealing with all that tax crap state local federal excise on and on until finally Dorthy finds out she is not in Kansas anymore . AAARRRGG!

Doc.,

Already did a google, came up with those 4000 yard spools only. I have all the proper tax numbers in order, and do buy Wholesale whenever I can. I know where to get 22,000 yard spool, but they only sell in red and black, and I want different colors. Tax stuff is a pain, but so would be getting caught w/o the numbers.
As far as posting pics, I have to find the camera that I gave to my Daughter to use lol.
The stuff I sell to shops is pretty standard/basic colors. White/green/yellow/red and pink. I think blaze orange works great for Flounder, and the most under used one.
I make a several rigs using #1 Mustad wide gap hooks, hi/lo, 3/ways and such with bucktail teasers on them.
I do a lot of 1/4 and 3/8 oz. tandem shad head jigs for Flounder there. White and basic 2 color. Ultra minnow head was my new mold for last season, 2,3 and 4oz., Again, white and 2 color but do special orders of more detailed heads. White bottoms, then the second color on top and sides. Hair tied to match color of head. !/4 pz. popeye jigs in tandem do really well also.
Fluke balls are getting more popular. I do them in 1.5oz. to 6 oz. I do have it up to 8 oz., but don't sell that one.
Most people I see sell stuff in one color only, that is why I do 2 color and match the hair to it. To me it's really basic, and I would like to do more detailed work, but shops only have so much space they can give me, and I do have a full time job that I work a lot of hours at, and am thankful for. This is just a hobby I took over from my Dad and it seems to be getting bigger lol. Already picked up a new shop for next year, and a couple pending.
I'll try to find the camera and post pics, but hang on, I haven't posted pics on the net for many years lol.

Yea, those taxes are a fun time lol. These large jigs eat up the string, but I go through bucktails like crazy also. I have 60 to pick up next week from the furrier, 180 on order for Feb. He is going to get me some skunk hair to try this year to see what I can do with it.
I don't get as detailed as you guys do with those crappie jigs and regular flies. Some of these pics look great.
