Yeah Yeah I know I got enough LOL Now here's why - was on TJ's tackle when I ordered some more powder and he has a conversion piece that makes a three inch bed into a 2 inch for when you don't need as much powder.

I have some old style Silver Buddy blade baits that I poured and I want to powder paint them and seeing that conversion piece thought....

If I built a 1 or 1 1/2" and used like a 4-4 1/2" tall top cup do you think the powder would bubble high enough to dip the blades attached to a wire or should I not waste the money and just use a 3" bed??

Give me your thoughts!!!

FM,

Never tried such a project. Maybe test how high you can go with paint in your 2", before cutting all the pvc. If you can get close to the height you want, then maybe a 1.5" will work. A 1" might just be a paint geyser!

The Fluid bed I am using came from TJ, great guy to deal with.
I was using my 6" cups today, 3" wide. It does take a lot of powder to get it going lol.
