Trying to find something to do and have decided to make a jig mold from bondo. I have read dozens of posts on various forums claiming it will work so am gonna try it in the next couple days.

Has anyone tried and/or does anyone have any words of wisdom to share?

I have one I made using bondo, works very well. Be sure to use enough Vaseline around your mold form and on what ever you plan to make the mold of.

I just read an article on that last night when I was trying to read up on modifying my molds. Keep us posted

Try a RTV mold first. More forgiving andll last longer unless you're going to brass your bindo mold.

Lost Pole, what do you mean by brass the mold? That is a term/concept that I have not run across
