Had to go and make some bucktail jigs.Since the marabou was doing well,time for some real hair.Red and white with a brown 1/8 oz. and size 2 sickle.

As much as we all try other materials we all end up adding those bucktail jigs to the mix. They always seem to work.

Thanks.As much as I loved catching all them crappies with the marabou,all I wanted to do was tye a bucktail on and did'nt have any small ones with me.Not anymore,lol.

When I work with feathers of any type,more are on the floor then on the jigs,lol

When the water temp drops below 50 degrees ...I fish hair jigs almost exclusively.

I have to hide them now,once they see fish at the end of the line them color jigs are hard to keep a hold of around here.I think the 1/32 with the size 6 sickle will be next.

Doc is coming up for the Slab Fest next Wendsday,so I figured that I better stock up on jigs.Thought that tying for three was bad enough,now it's four,lol.Here's bucktail special 1/16 oz.
