The Beer Report

The BEER report – Weather is changing in NEPA so your beverage should change as well. I have moved the bourbon whiskey to the pantry for the summer and stocked the fridge with Fat Tire. Good middle of the road heat index beer. I am preparing though for the onslaught of triple digit and high 90’s June/July temps and bought a 24 pack of PBR at the Jolly Farmer = Deli/Donut store/Beer Store yesterday. PBR is the Gatorade of beers. Lots of fluids, ie. Water. Stay hydrated while you fish.

We have been in triple digits here for a while now... S0 it has been Mich Ultra in the bottle for me...

I've been drinking anything that I can find cold and wet. I even broke down and drank a Mountain Dew and not the good kind that makes me a little sleepy. It rains 15 min . then boils me like a lobster for 9 hours with wind that just blows hot and humid . But its alright this is OKLA. probably be 50 degrees tonight . If it really got that cool it would not surprise me any.

I have a soft spot for the 'Green Death' but would help the un-known to me Shiner get the upper hand - just out of curiosity. Ruby Redbird Summer Brew..... citrus?

I am stuck with some Mich. Amberbock this week. I do looooong for one of these though:

Sure wish they would sell the L. 48 IPA in 6-packs instead of only 2 in along with their summer sampler. :dodgy:

Nuthin but the best Texas Ruby Red Grapefruit !!!

Never thought a beer with a Grapefruit and clove infusion would work at all...But if you have access to Shiner, this is a great summer time cold one !!
