The Alpaca Hairy Worm

Materials:

• A 1/8-oz. ball head jig with a #2 bronze hook
• Harbor Freight/Orbit Powder Paint Mixture - gloss black
• UTC Ultra Thread 140 denier - black
• Hareline-Dubbin, Inc. Krystal Flash - pearl red
• Tandy Premium Leather Remnant - black
• Alpaca Hair - black

I really like this jig. It just might be one of my very best ties ever. Alpaca fibers are so soft. I have a good feeling about this one.

That is a beauty - not only the spike tail that has to have lots of action but the black/red flash combo..................... that is a jig i would be happy to tie on end my line. Going to need some 3/16's and 1/4's in that pattern also.

WOW!!! I love that style of tie not only the way it looks but I read that article about the "hairy worm" and I bet the alpaca hair makes it even better!!!! Let us know what happens when you fish it!!!
