Tornadoes tore thru the area late today. No problems in our neighborhood but the Brother and Sister-in-law's neighborhood had several mobile homes destroyed. We lost power for 10 minutes but the people south of us about 10 miles will not get power back until Saturday. We were just plain plumb lucky.

Half a state away from me,but have 3 family members in Granbury..Little roof and tree damage for them ,but all are safe. Most of the damage was just a few miles from them.

Rad they haven't figured out how BIG Texas really is. It takes a day of driving to get from our place to yours. That is 10 hours which is more than most care to drive. Wife has a aunt in Granbury they didn't get any thing at there place across town from were the tornado hit.

Here is a piece of the home town screwdriver about the tornado that is just 15 mile south of us. We really lucked out.

I wasn't born here I just got here as fast as I could. You don't have to live here long to get it figured out that Miles are nothing Its time that you have to gauge distance by.

Starting on my 10 year mark down here. Have been a bunch of people that have moved into our Hood and then moved out just as fast as they came. You eather fit in or you don't. Guess I am one of them Dang Yankees that took. God Bless Texas.

Well it looks like today we in East Texas are in for a bout of weather. It is really hot and humid outside just the right conditions for a good old fashion Tornado. Y'all watch out .

I know where you are coming from. This has been a hard ride for the last half of a year. I would love to wake up without pain for one day,...
