Swimming jig

This is a jig I had decided was going to be a swimming jig before I tied it. It is a 3/32oz head painted green pumpkin, size #1 hook, the tail is a little bit of red bucktail and medium olive craft fur. I added some green flash and finished off with large olive cactus chenille.

That is a specialized mold for a technique I don't really use much. The jig in the pic is just a cast and slow swim in cold water type deal but I can bottom hop it if that is what the fish prefer. To me that swim jig from Do-it reminds me of the weighted hooks for swimbaits.

The colors on that would knock 'em dead around here. No respectable SM or LM bass could let that go by without hitting it.

Here's a similar downsize swim jig tied by a TN basser - 1/16 oz. Cabela's Wobble head #2 Sickle marabou tail & collar. Slower fall than a Walleye head and has a slight side to side wobble on a medium or faster retrieve. On slower retrieves the jig can be twitched to activate the wobble. The head design tends to keep the hook point upright.

That is cool, but I kind of want this jig to fall fast for a reaction strike as bass typically follow these types of jigs for a bit and a fast fall often gets them to commit and hit it, that is why U didn't add a collar or bulk up the tail. On another note that wobble head is almost impossible to find anymore, I know a few guys that really like to fish Kalin Lunker grubs for river smallies on the back of the wobble head jigs.

? I couln't find any Wobble Jig molds on eBay? Are you referring to the heads?

Indeed, the molds have scarcity value - I paid over $50 including shipping for my last one.
