Hi!

The other day I was goofing around with floating eyes and hackle such as used in those east coast striper flies. I thought the H style could make for a neat tube.

Couple of days later, I had some customers over for a tupper-ware-style party with presentation, bbq and fishing in the afternoon. We had 3 yaks on the water, 2 rods each, and one lure alone caucht 13 out of 15 fish: It was the squid that I had carelessly given away before to one of the guys. Never seen the cod in my backyard so picky. Any other day, I would have sworn they were just not there/ not in the mood/ whatever.

P.S: not even sure if I had posted this here before, but I just made the first decent pic for the shop of it and thought somebody might find it interesting.

Thanks. Its not really innovative since I stole pretty much all the tying from a fly pattern:

No stinger involved. Cod will chase after and strike again when they miss. Once ended up with an assist hook in my thump and a 5 pound cod on the triple, flapping around in the yak. After that I was done with the extra hooks. Was lucky to have a knive at hand.
