This was caught on a 1/24 boolie jig on the first cast of the morning. I thought it was a bass at first, really hammered the boolie. It rolled on top and I started laughing. It probably weighed close to 2 lbs. Also caught bass, small crappie,a redear and a couple gills on boolie jigs.It was still dark when it hit.View attachment 9

Wow - never seen a goldfish that big! My kids would beg me something terrible to bring home a fish like that.

Beautiful fish !! My latest Boolie fish have been very similar -tho not quite as bright as yours; found a great carp bite on a small local lake that love the little Boolie ; a few hours in early morning has the ole Bool hooking 2-4 of these grand fighters! I may have been able to get more in my 3 hr sessions, but these locals tend to get big and take all my time up with their long runs -one took me 2 solid hours to land with light spinning gear and 5# test line!! Rich golden colors, and sure do look neat with that Boolie head just popping out of those bugle-like lips!!
