Hi!

I find most of my jigs too big and heavy to be stored in my fly boxes but too small and fuzzy for the tackle box.

How do you guys store them away?

I use Plano 3600 size utility boxes. Cheap, fits most tackle boxes and bags, and holds lots of jigs.

4 mil zip locks - heads in a row at bottom of the bags stored upright in long narrow boxes. The thicker plastic walls and tight horizontal stacking help keep the tail materials in place. Just grab a few bags as needed for trips. Most of my ties seem to fit in 2x2 & 2x3 but 2x4 might be handy to have.

Nice system there Len!

I usually pack a dozen jigs in a few bags maybe two tail colors in a waist pack for day trips.

I bought this Photo Storage System at Hobby Lobby for $22 after a 40% off coupon.

It has 16 small boxes that hold about 3 dozen 1/8oz jigs. Probably 4 doz + 1/16oz. I got the 1/2" packing foam off ebay for $12 for 15 sheets 12"X 11"
