Noticed that my 10# Sufix 832 was getting fray spots, rod guides and tip top didn't appear to have any damage. Running a finger along the top edge of the reel spool revealed multiple nicks & ruff spots so smoothed em out with a 600 grit diamond abrasive bar. The consequence of being in a hurry to lay the rod & reel down on rocks to unhook netted fish. If other anglers are present nearby I find it necessary to expeditiously unhook and release in the dark so as not to advertise my catches.

My other go to spool of 8# Sufix 832 was the same, so smoothed out that spool edge too. Lately, couldn't figger why that line would be more n more prone to small tight loop casting knots. Using the refurbished spool this AM didn't have any, hopefully fixed.
