Tied these yesterday for clear water fishing. Hope to attract a bass or two with them.

Yes Pup I bet that you see more than a few bass fall victim to those ties. Like the chenille yarn color. Will visit the local Tandy leather shop in Bossier City and see if I can pick up some of that leather. Then use a very fine Sharpie pen to add a black or a red strip to the leather. Think that this pattern in a 1/16 or 1/32 may just be the ticket on some days when less is more for the Crappies.

Thanks for sharing that one with us. BTW care to share the recipe for the Gray Harbor Freight powder paint?? Very nice color!!!!

Redman,

It's a 1:1 ratio of black to white or as near as you can mix. Glad you like the color. It's one of my favorites.

SB,

Soon, I hope. Last time I went, I fought with wind knots constantly. I endured a difficult field testing situation to say the least. 'Twas self-inflicted braid agony. :beat-up:

At times, I really do dislike braided line. However, I dislike losing jigs much more. ;)

My leather curly tails do have pretty good action. Can't wait to try them down by the river.
