Something usefull for increasing storage

Hey there!
This is not something I would normally do. But I am so impressed with the ease of set up and usefullness of this free storage site that I felt it worthwhile to share.

I've been using Dropbox and thought you might like it. It's a free way to bring all your files anywhere and share them easily. A friend from work turned me on to this freebie and I moved all my photos from my PC to my DropBox. If you set up an account (free) I get more free storage space. I am organizing the files so eventually I can set up sharing.

With all the companies that have been getting hacked I went the simple route of getting a Toshiba Canvio Slim II portable hard drive 1 terabyte. If I ever need to transfer a file I have them with me, and can plug in anywhere.

Most file storage place's only give you 2 Gig, after that you have to have a paid account. How much space do you get there??

Not hacked, an IT Expert shared the site with me. He does a lot of Web Site maintenance and video postings. Works great for his videos and pics as well as some of his specialized software.

Some food for thought...

I have 2Gb of storage space allocated to my free photobucket (PB Free) account. Been storing photos there for years and currently have 2932 photos stored to date. I'm using only 9% of my allocated storage.

Wouldn't mind a good alternative since PB Free has become an advertising monstrosity and increasingly cumbersome to use imo. So, I may just check this site out to see if it's very user friendly and relatively advertiser free.

I just got a thumb drive at Radio Shack with like 8 gigs for under $20. Works for me.

I'm boring, so not worried much about people hacking my pix & stuff
