With all the powder I've bought I ran out of Horseheads so I had to get some pouring done. Only poured two trays full and had to stop cause the back started hurting. Got all the sprues trimmed from Tray 1 and although Tray 2 shows some still on they are all off now!!!

Half way through pouring I couldn't figure out why the horsehead started pouring so bad - bout 2 more pours and I found a small piece of lead on the 1/32 oz side of the mold which was keeping it open, got it out and back to normal. So I'm gonna have some trimming to do but that's okay.

Looks like you were busy. Nice looking jigs. I poured 300 heads yesterday also and poured a few 1/16 pony heads for use next week. I don't like those #12 crane's and I wonder if anyone has tried a bigger size crane for the 1/16 oz and up.

I use ball bearing swivels on the big stuff 3/4 and up . Put an s hook in the mold then after I pour and paint I can have the blades and swivels already assembled . Slide them on crimp shut and your good to go . Lets you do all the main work up front not dealing with hanging hardware.

Yeah the swivels definately slow you down - and the mold being double sided is also a pain cause theirs not a lot of room in between the 2 sides but they don't make a production for 1/16th unless you want a Pony mold.

Yeah It's 159 am and I just finished trimming all the horse heads and tommorrow I'll get the tin foil on them. Then I need to decide what I want to paint and what I want to mix up!!

Stump on the Pony head jigs you can switch over to a #10 swivel when you hit the 1/8th oz head but I wouldn't use it on any smaller than that it really throws off the balance no matter what blade you put on it. Really destroys the action of the jig.
