Those will work. Tail length and fullness is a preference thing. Yours might be a hair long for my taste, but they will catch fish with out a doubt. I bet they have great action.

I could be wrong, but the pics look like they are marabou to me. I've never worked with fox at all.

1 green and 1 yellow is a arctic fox, but I can't tell the yellow from the picture. I read somewhere that arctic fox was supposed to be the best (probably that guys preference) so I bought 2 colors to try.

I do have a problem with consistency, and I prefer a longer tail, however need to get out and try it to be sure. Just enjoying doing a little tying right now, and dreaming of fishing outta my yak.

Out here...
Those look good...
Arctic fox has great action and is tough...
And those long tails don't scare me even a little...

Working with fox, imho, is similar to rabbit. I like the flair of rabbit better, but that's just a personal preference.

For small mouth it's all about biology, real estate & presentation

Or as I like to put it, find the lazy boy next to the grocery store.

Nice ties

I use the joins in my index finger as a tool for tail length. It get easier with each jig you tie.
Your work is looking good.
