I made these this morning, 1/8 OZ WITH #1 sickles or Owner's. Hard to get mallard flank big enough for #1's and had to go through a couple large bags to get these. If anyone is interested in trading me for some bigger feathers I'm sure we can work out a trade. Since the mold came out I've caught large mouth and spotted bass, crappie, walleye, trout, drum and even a skipjack herring with these.  View attachment 3View attachment 4View attachment 5View attachment 6

Looking good. Those flank feathers sure have the baitfish scale look. No wonder that is a multi-species tool.

I wasn't a big fan of the willow blade until this mold came out but I'm starting to become one. #2 willow is perfect with the 1/8 and I use a 2.5 with the 1/4oz. AF, need to tie up a couple for those walleyes you've been catching, might be a game changer.

I have some of those you sent painted up and on my desk ready to tie. That flash from the blade might bring them in from farther away.

These are great looking jigs!! I have been thinking about purchasing this mold but I was wondering where do you get the wire that the spinners mount onto??

Those are all great-looking jigs.  However, the mallard flanks are particularly intriguing to me.
