Small Boolie Variety

I had some "Mean Minner" heads that I messed up a little experimenting with curing eyes into PP. Thought I'd use them to tie up a variety of boolie patterns I've been thinking bout and see which one I liked the best. With exception of one on a 1/32 # 6 all are tied on a CAT 1/48 "Mean Minner" #8. Used "small" Wapsi propeller and 5/32 brass beads.

I first heard the term boolie here on this site. I'm sure others can/will tell you more or correct me if im wrong but I know it as a pattern/jig type that member jiggerjohn came up with and has had great success with. I have seen several variations of this type of jig but in my opinion the version using hooksup (think that's the name) heads made by Hawnjigs is by far the best.

Nice work Andy. That top jig will be a killer!!! These jigs catch fish.. I have trolled them many times when the fish are up shallow and the boolie jigs run the fish crazy.

Nice work on those boolies. The props will spin better without the paint on the shank. I always scrape any excess paint off mine before adding the prop and bead.
