These are easy to tie but are to be used with Jiggerjohn's pendulum rig. Since they are weightless and would float other wise. I may try on fly rod just to see if it would work as a surface lure. But I don't think so. As it will probably float on its side.

I ties one on a #8 one on a # 4 and the biggest on a # 2. Used E-Z body braid. First I tied on buck tail the length of the hook to give the fly some buoyancy and to help fill the cavity of the braid. Then wrapped a zonker tail on the end. All hooks were streamer. The body braid is slipped over after all the material is tied in place.

Really looked good in tank test with the pendulum rig. When night fishing I always see these skinny minnows darting around the lantern night. As the fish seem to pounce on the real thing with great abandon thought these might fool something.

Those are nice! Did you coat them with something they almost look glossy.? Also the eyes look like they are part of it and the red nose is nice detail, just a nice looking jig in all. Thanks for showing.

The gloss effect is by using Clear Cure Goo Hydro.

They look really gruesome. Can't imagine anything NOT wanting to eat 'em. high powered lures.

That C.C. stuff has me interested for a while, but it looks to be very flexible/vulnerable....? was thinking of using it more as a paint clear... bad idea?
