Thanks to Redman, for posting about The Sioux City Journal. I dug around the site and found a few more gems to read. This one is on a bluegill fly. I've made an ant similar to this one and can tell you it's fun to tie. My friend Skip from another forum was the first to show me this fly and he explained to me how to tie it. Here is my first attempt at tying it. I did it when I first started learning to tie. If you go read the article, the author does a much better job than I did.
