First two are pretty straight forward.... minnow head is 1/16 and ball head is 1/32. Cool weather setting in so need to get out and try some evenings at my local res for crappie.

These are a little more complicated - but they really come to life in the water. ~15 mins to tie each. Heads are small/light weight lead free but on strong and xtra long hooks. They will work on smallmouth (or any other predator most likely) but tied them with fishing for steelhead in mind...... fingers crossed that i get a chance to head east this fall. Used canvas (poly) yarn for the belly and just keep doubling and stacking it from the tail to the head then trim it all after i finish, similar to how deer hair bass bugs are tied/trimmed. With the yarn belly, you can get the exact shape you want and do not add any weight to keep a super slow retrieve and it just flutters by.

Thanks for the thumbs up.

The minnow head has a mica/clear mix as the base color then tapped black only up on the top side. Added on a tap (or two) of silver holo. glitter at the end. Green chart. powder eyes as well.

Wow!!!! I need mica powder too, the paint on those small heads is just incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those stacked yarn bugs are going to be killer, the profile is a dead ringer for a big grub and right now there are tons of wooly bear caterpillars around, just an incredibly innovative use of material, fantastic work!!!!!!!!!!
