I received the fur and pheasant today. Should be able to get a few jigs and flys out of this. The table is a 3'er for comparison. The pheasant is a damaged skin and sales for $5. The others are deer, coyote tail, raccoon tail, muskrat skin and woodchuck tail.
The muskrat skin is nice, lots of uses. Had to add the coon tail after Bruce posted those jigs....
Another box of materials to choose from when tying.:)

Nice . Now all ya need is a Golden Pheasant and Lady Amherst skin

I would go with partridge and quail or grouse first, personally!

I like the partridge also. I have some lady and golden feathers already but not the whole skins. Heck I'll never use what I have now.

Scott all of these furs came from trappers. The coyote and raccoon tails are soft tanned.

Nice group of tying materials!!!!! Get you some good zip lock bags to protect them. Is all the other stuff just skin dried???

Doug the others are skin dried. The deer hide still has the holes where it was strung up on a drying ring.

I got some squirrel and coon tails from the same place and I was very satisfied.

I have enough squirrel tail to last awhile but I did order some soft tanned squirrel skins but--he was already out of them and refunded the money the next morning after the order was placed :).. Man I wanted a few of the squirrels.

When you need gray dubbing for anything the underfur off that muskrat will beat anything on the market!!! Just make sure to have a pair of tweezers to pull any hairs out, you want just the dubbing for your flies.
