Roger - Why haven't we seen some fishing reports??

Ron - Oh come on - last i heard, your dinner of choice when the boss was away is Lucky Charms - or something like that.

When i am left to my own diner prep, it is usually frozen burritos Occasionally there would be something ON the stove.......... Ramen noodles and toasted cheese.

C'mon you got to do better than that!!!!!!! I'll do Italian Sausage, steak, Mac and Cheese (not instant). And I'm not above frozen pizza's and frozen dinners but don't mind cooking.

Ron - Fried baloney!!!!!!!! Yummy!!! I get mini sub rolls and get good deli cut just over 1/2 inch thick an make hot mini subs out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do know how to cook...... just choose NOT to whenever possible.

I'd rather cook outside over the fire too - might have slipped my mind since i don't do it as often through the winter. I could survive just fine with some steak, salt, and pepper. Brats also, since there is not even a need for a plate. :D

Now that's what I am talking about. Real Man Food!!! Brats and Steak. A little mustard and Sauerkraut and you in business. I like to toast the bun on the grill and have a cold one in my hand.

When I went through college, I got po'd at my room mates always eating my food ... so I made a deal with them. They buy the food, I cook it. Didn't have to buy food for years and everyone ate well.

Just because the wifey's gone, doesn't mean you dont have to eat well. If nothing else, learn to bachelor cook - tin foil.

Couple Marriage Survival Tips From an Old Battle- Scarred Veteran. For those of you who are married may be too late but some of these tip s may still work. Use with caution as black eyes are difficult to explain to friends.

1. Learn to cook. ( But make sure you leave a mess in kitchen anytime that you do. Make it look like you tried to clean it up for positive results. This will normally lead to left-over plates of her home cooked meals that will be microwavable. )

2. Learn to wash clothes the guy way. That is do not pre or color sort. Wash all clothes together that results in beautiful gray underwear. make sure you do large overloads also. ( This resulted in me being banned from the laundry room under any circumstances, Its a tough rule but I have learned to adjust.

3. Never under any circumstances ask her to clean your fish or game. ( If she offers by all means let her. Make sure to praise her work regardless of outcome. Since she will be vastly neater at this than you. Heaven is when she insists on doing all of the cleaning of whatever you drag home. )

4. Never under any circumstances compare her to another woman where she is coming out on the short end. ( This rule is hard and fast. Even if she begs for the truth. God forgives all lies told under this circumstance. If you are ever foolish enough to believe she wants the real truth I hope someone waters you at least three times a week. )

5. First thing when you get up in the morning offer her an apology for what you did wrong yesterday. If even if you dumb enough to think you did nothing wrong the previous day. ( Believe me you did something that kinda hurt her feelings. )

6. Whenever she catches your eyes straying on another woman. " Reply how you couldn't help but notice how lucky you are see rule # 4. "

These are just a few jewels I have picked up over the years of dealing with women. I have the ex-wives , exhausted bank accounts and knots on my head to prove it. The last tidbit I will leave you with :

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO HANDLE WOMEN. NEITHER OF THEM WORK.

I'm retired and she works fulltime so I do most of the cooking. I can cook anything she can and she doesn't barbecue so I'm one up on her in that department. Papa, never had any knots on my head from her but there have been many times that I should have. We are in our 35th year together and in our case it's gotten better over time. I do some laundry as well but never fold or iron. I could never live up to her standards with laundry and won't try anymore.
