Found a few older baits that were my dad's that somehow survived my trips to his tackle box when I was a child. I "borrowed" and lost a few back in the day. I decided to retie two baits that were really rough, the twin spin and a Snagless Sally. I finished the twin spin and have the Sally painted but haven't decided how to finish it yet. Since all the twin spins I've seen were bucktail I used bucktail. Here are before and after pics of the twin spin. Hook is in good shape so I may use it soon.View attachment 4View attachment 5

The 'Snagless Sally' is a long-time, perhaps older, Hildebrandt Bait that was once made in Logansport, Indiana.  Looking forward to a photo of its makeover, perhaps. :)

BTW, the old Shannon Twin Spins do work pretty darn well when fished.  Your restored model looks like a winner.
