WhoWeee! That is a bad boy . Could run a big minner tank on that . The stone may help a little . I've built several types of powder equipment . No complete success with diffusers . worth a try maybe . Increase the amount of paint in the tube . Sometimes more is less . Volcano's that is . Ithink I posted a thing called the thunder dome on here . Never did finish the thing because the air release foot valve was so expensive .

Since mine usually looks like a pot of bubbling stew I cannot comment. I think there is too much pressure and not enough air volume. I too have tried dozens of items and am not really happy. But they work, I get a uniform thin-ish coating and it usually cures w/o sagging. I would love to have one of the ESD systems but know for a fact that unless I win a big power--ball that will not happen. I've been in many powder coating facilities and the powder just hangs in the chamber waiting for a part to pass thru. It is amazing to see and makes it easy to see they can coat 1-2 mils coating thickness.
