Excellent job JC members the box arrived yesterday safe and sound. I am flabbergasted - so much generosity is mind boggling. Like last round the box grew - way out of proportion!

Here's what is in the box;

The remainder is going back to Russ. Think we can either donate it to new and upcoming jigcrafters or auction it off to help off set operating costs.

I believe that this swap is another success - even with the catastrophe at the PO. Considering all the swaps we have had, that was the first time anything negative has happened - still pretty good odds.

If we want to continue these swaps things will have to change. Learned the hard way, value on the box sky rocketed, and some fat cat at the PO is mighty pleased with themselves.....

It might be a little more work - somebody had a fantastic idea about handling the swaps like the jig/fly swaps with some minor changes.
How bout?
Participants send a small flat rate box with items and the cost for a
flat rate return - think it's $5+.
Participants write out a receipt for your items and mail to host.
Host posts pics - participants pick and choose.
Hosts mails out the individual boxes.
We can do a jig swap the same way....

Thnx again to everybody that participated - made my day. The generosity shared here is proof of why JC needed to happen.

Count me in! I like these swaps.

I like the idea of donations going to JC operations. I felt like the luckiest guy in the world the day I found this sight. We have a fantastic group here and I'm honored to be a part of it.
Thank you

I echo what QPassage said! I'll also add that as somewhat of a newcomer, I have felt as welcome here as anywhere else on the web that I frequent! I have not encountered a single negative "VIBE" on this site & what's more (& possibly most important) I really feel my input and very limited tying skill is appreciated here while the "Old Salt's" are ever willing to encourage & mentor! Thanks JC!please keep it up!
