rappie fingerling

Most of you probably already know how panfish prey on fingerling of other species and indeed even their own.

Crappie fry are a preferred forage of many fish, so here is my latest attempt to mimic them. Do you guys like the top one better or the bottom ?

Both were tied with Guinea fowl feathers top one was obviously the bigger dot pattern. #4 chrome plate hooks.

Both are excellent but I'm liking the top one more as it is more visible however the bottom one is a more natural color pattern, that is tough but the only way to know is for the fish to decide.

I like both, top one mimics the black and bottom the white crappie; very creative thinking, love'm.

Really like both, but that bottom'n is the cats silk pajamas. Awesome as usual Mr Hayes.
