Rain In Texas...!!!

I guess The Good Lord was tried of me bitchin' about the Texas Heat and Dought and sent us some rain...here's a photo of my stocktank this morning...it is so full and backed up, it is going over the spillway...and it is still raining...!!

We had forcasts of several inches,rain Fri,Sat and Sun...

Turned out got a little sprinkle Fri Am and that was it ...

Mary Lou Glad that God gave you some rain. Was headed in out direction but ran out about 20 miles west of us. Out of our 15 pubic boat launches on the lake there are only 3 that are open. All three operated by the state. There will not be any fishing here if we don't get some rain soon. Not only that but there are a lot of trees here that are starting to die. They will have to be harvested soon. Worse yet the cattle don't have hay so guess that beef next year going to cost us a whole lot more. Grrrrrr.

Some days I feel like we are back in the Great Depression and Dust Bowl days. Rain will have to start some day. I just keep my faith and keep praying to God for relief.

3.3 inches here, but the land is so dry we had zero run-off... Thankful for what we have, and praying for more!!!

Glad to see you guys got some rain!!! Hopefully it wasn't the gully washer stuff but just nice soaking rain, and a bunch of it. Just hope the skeeters didn't bust out from it.
