Pup shared a link the other day to a cool fly pattern called Lefty's Red and White Hackle Fly. I had a couple of 1/4 oz. red powder painted jigheads that seemed perfect for this pattern. I substituted flash for the grizzly hackle on these jigs.

I think some local pike might find this pattern attractive enough.

I'd say you transferred that pattern very well to a jig........ will have to try a multi-color hackle body like that my self, it looks very good.

Love the body work. Ive never palmered a two tone body in sections like that! Ive wrapped two colors simultaneous but I like yours better.

Yup, a red & white spoon got my first decent fish looong ago when I first started throwing lures, and was and is THE go to color(s) here in HI for feather tuna jigs.

Your hackle neck tie looks like it may work as well as or better than any jig out your way. If you find something better let us know!
