It is also $22.00 a pound. I got a couple of jars of junbug and dragon fly from Zeiners Bass Shop and it was $5.79 a jar.

I know I'm going to get some powder from Columbia - but ProTec has some colors they don't. Still doing some checking - one guy on fleabay wanted $7.50 + shipping for a 2 oz. jar!!!!!! NOT!!!LOL

I ordered another jar just in case but I got regular gloss black. I don't know if I should keep it and order again or send it back. Either way I'll have to try calling them tomorrow.

Stocked up last December. Had a feeling that things would start to go south. Looks like we have the start of a inflationary period. Buy what you think that you need and can afford now next year you will think that these prices today are really good.

No can't have too much but what happens when it is not available or you can't afford it. Stocked up on hooks, PP, feathers, hair, and thread. Now next month we will have to take care of the chenille. Skeins go a lot farther than 3 or 5 yard packs.

I'm just gonna have to go for it. Only have the feathers, chenille and powder to buy. Already bought a case of jars for powder, a few thousand hooks, and some wool.

If the price goes up that much that i can no longer fit the fancy materials and colors in my budget..... my new favorite jig will be raw lead head, red thread neck, sparrow tail.

FWIW - even what they charge for a 2oz. jar of powder, it makes it worth the expense when you can paint an extremely large number of pieces from one jar, if you are using it properly.
