Getting ready to order a bunch of hooks for 2015 season. Normally I use BN hooks but really wonder if they are worth the extra $$.

Starting a little poll to see how y'all feel.

I kinda have a soft spot for bronze hooks. I like that they can potentially rust out of a fish's body. It's a conservation matter to me.

I nearly always air my tackle boxes out at the slightest suspicion of moisture inside of them anyway.

The Eagle Claw Black Nickel - Needle Point Hooks are the best I have used so for,
I have a 1/4 jig that I use with a plastic Shrimp Tail that I have used in Brackish water for a year and no rust. (not often I have one this long.. but have been lucky to get it back from a few snags with 12# line a little straightening and you are set to go)
Normally if you let one sit a while with soft plastic holding moisture on the hook will cause it to rust fast.
I am real happy with them .. and they are as sharp as they come.

Rust & I don't get along for medical reasons.

BLN all the way.

BTW, BLN still rusts, but not as easily
