My wife knows a taxidermist here where we live. She talked him out of a BUNCH of caribou trimmings. It's really soft, packs like you wouldn't believe, and is easy to trim/shave. No sure how it would affect how fast a jig falls. I haven't tried using it on a jig, yet. But I can tie some great Muddler Minnows with it. Now you've got me thinking that I may have to try something......
