Pink/white is a killer color combo in my home waters. I really did the over-size collar; that ought to really push some water, help to move the tail some.

I really like the colors on that blue head jig. Did you paint the jighead yourself? If so, what color is that?

Nice jigs. As a suggestion, you might try tying a few without the chenille or hackle at the collar (classic style). Classic craft fur jigs work pretty well for crappie and bass most any time of the year.

Pup,
Its Nice to here from a fellow Hoosier !! I'm From Marion Ind. I fished the OleMiss & Sally Reservoirs !! Thanks for the input I'm planning to try that today I just like playing around a little and I like the look of the chenille collar. I'm also a little intimidated by some of the classic style jigs posted on here. I'm trying to get the basics down because I want to try to tie salmon jigs

Hey Stab, wasn't my intention at all. I think they are great ties, they should hunt. I'm from a little further south than you and pup, but I got a grandson thats a Hoosier, My bride and I make the run to Indianapolis a couple times a year...

Nice to have you posting here. I've fished the Salamonie Reservoir Tailwater in years past. My personal best walleye came from there. I need to get back there sometime.

You're doing fine with your ties and welcome aboard. :)
