Little something to do with those pipe stem cleaner. Haven't smoked in years just figured I better start using them up.

Thanks, I actually saw the stems in Micheal's the other day and had to try them. It's hard to find that green color in regular chenille.

Nice ties. I tried some white pipe cleaners on jigs many years ago and it was turning a rusty brown the next day.

Good-looking ties.

Might soak them in a light machine oil after fishing, because as has been mentioned, they'll rust.

If you want to find a nice 'green apple' color of chenille yarn, try searching eBay for Caron Glimmer in 'apple' color (example). It's been discontinued a while, but there may be a few skeins showing up there on occasion.
