Went up to Howard Lake for some perch and other panfish.Needed to try out the squirrel tailed 1/32 oz. jigs that I tied up.It was very chillie but a beautifull day.Got windy and had to take sweatshirts on and off all day.Long johns stayed on though, lol.Stuck to my guns and did'nt keep anything under 6" in the perch department.Crappies were all over legai 9".Kinda hard to get them bigger as therte are so many of them.Non stop fishing once again.Ended up with 40 perch and 9 keeper crappie.

Wow! Nice work
I'll trade you some speckled trout or red fish for some of those perch. I remember seeing a YouTube of a guy cleaning one of those on the ice, whole, in like 10 secs. He basically ripped the skeleton out like grabbing a chip out of a bag.

I'll take that trade, lol. The guy with the speckeled trout videos got me hooked on finding some.Perch are tasty, but I don't think they will stack up against the sea trout.I'm going to turn Doc onto some of these guys.

Nice catch :exclamation: Good to see those jigs paid off big time. Nice catch, congrats :)
I tied a few squirrel tail jigs last night to try this weekend. Looks like they work so I'm looking forward to using em.
