But it was perfect on the water. Not too hot & a slight breeze.

Nice fish - although I have to admit what really catches my eye are those neat H-shape marker floats of yours

Is that a solid wood plate wrapped with foam? I´m in need for a larger version of the ones I can buy here, for my saltwater fishing, so I find that very interesting. They look like they could easiely be scaled up.

You could buy the larger swimming pool "noodle" I think then just cut 3/4" plywood to fit. I got the plan for these out of a Bassmaster magazine several years ago. You see the plywood is separating a little & needs a fresh coat of paint but they work great. The only expense I had was $.99 for the noodle (6' long), a can of black spray paint ($2) and I think $8 for 6 lead decoy weights. I already had the twine & some scrap plywood. That's $11 for 6 markers that should last forever. BTW, be sure to use a waterproof glue.

Might have to build myself a couple of those also. And a few of those blue/chart. jigs. Hot color here in the land of Oz on several of our reservoirs. Nice job.

Thanks for the recepy! I live close to the sea, we have boat builder grade Plywood in every craft shop, shouldn´t be a problem. Even got a decoy weight mold. Used the first one I poured to sink my last marker float: The twine got stuck in itself and stopped spinning of... :(

Glad to hear you got out and found a few. Sounds like you need a couple days in a row on the water to put a pattern together and FILL the live well! Keep on 'em.

Yeah Russ, that's what's missing. Only going out once a week for 2-3 hours isn't the best way to keep up with the movements. But then, it's better than not going out. At this point, I'll take what I can get.
