Rivers on the rise and we went near Mississippi line and close to mouth of lake on East Pearl. Mistake. Water in my cut was rushing out and my ol scullin arm Cldnt handle it. Not only that but my old bridge pilings have been removed. Seems a lot of river "clean ups" are under way round these parts. Caught a few sacs, a no good fishing report but did get a decent pic of Pistol with his baby red

And got a smile being somewhere diff. Going back this week to walk some new trails made out there. Fresh air.

Hawn, there's salt, fresh, and brackish water everywhere here. In my opinion, LA is the ideal place for a hunter/fisherman hybrid human to live.
Ain't called Sportsmans Paradise for nothing.

That boy got one of them ear to ear grins. I know he enjoyed the trip! Nephew heard and called wanting me to take him tiger fishing this weekend. Didn't have to twist my arm!
