[Lost Pole]

Got to flip a few jigs yesterday while Pistol was visiting with other family. Pitched n dip'd an electric chicken and a grn chart/ fl yeller jig. Just couldn't find anything bunched up.

Apparently I should've used blue n white and paddled opposite direction. Got a call while working that 59 sacs were taken from where I put in, opposite direction for 1/2 mile. Ah we'll…

The ones you managed look decent - did you at least have a few to take home? Looks like a really big warmouth/greensunfish (not sure what its called down there) in the 2nd picture. Round here, very rarely catch them big enough to bother keeping but that one has shoulders.

.......and next time, go the RIGHT direction! :bigfish: Where's the swamp pics? Always like to see the fishing hole about as much as the fish.

QK, doubt it. I dropped at least 10 sacs back in water that went 6-8". But at least there was action. Throw up your pics if you took any. I love fish pics.

WBG, sometimes I think so but am a big fan of BRIGHT. I feel I catch more sacalait on those colors and that's all I want to catch. I'm cursed.

I always bring something home. I'm not the best fisherman but ill never starve. Will try to take some scenery pics next time. Been wanting to just go farther than i know, so will take the time to record it. Or bring Helianthus, she's got the photo eye and equipment to make it happen. She's a female version of you with the picture taking.

I was Going to ask u about blue n white about half way through reading your post! Seems to be the go to for many folks down your way. I'm glad to see you're catching some there since that last kill off. Russ many call em goggle eyes.
